Welcome to the Cure Drive, Tina. My most basic suggestion for you would be to

learn how to do a simple removal using the Newbie's Free Text Tutorial,

then show your son how to do it so he can begin removing OCD from his bodies. 

Kids will amaze you with their innate ease and skill at this. On second

thought, maybe he can learn the removal first and then teach it to you.
