Teri

Dear ,

It sure seems like I wrote and asked you why you can't see a gastro until Dec. and if I did could you please remind me as to why?

Your diet should be normal things in the food groups. The one thing you want to stay away from is red meats and raisins things that are high in Iron, your liver doesn't need that.Of course no alcohol. You can take acetaminophen or tylenol but they prefer you only take one at a time, but can take every 4hr.s as needed.

You need to drink lots of water!! Very little caffeine. They suggest if you don't feel like eating to eat small amt's. through out the day.

Lots of protein rich foods and high calorie foods to prevent weight loss. Good protein foods are peanut butter, chicken , fish beans eggs, unsalted nuts, yogurt.

Call this no. 1-888-437-2608, this is the Be In Charge No. ask if they could send you the hand book for living with Hep C. Just tell tem your situation, you could even ask to speak to a nurse and ask questions.

Also nothing to do with the Hep C but if you have a thyroid problem now make sure you don't do any soy products, it's a big no no.

Hey if I can help in any other way please let me know!

Love, Teri
