Guest guest
It has seemed, over the last 11 years of maintaining this, that no matter what we do to bring cure to the light of human awareness, cure only seems to get dragged back into a dark area where it is unknown to most people. Even though cure happens routinely every day, it has never attained a sufficient velocity away from the darkness to be more than an anomaly, a mystery, something most people doubt they can do. Now, the speed of cure into human awareness takes a leap, in an unexpected way. Here we wake up. Because when you compare a typical weeks Web results -- that includes New site visitors, around 500; New CureDrive members, around 50; New colleagues in the Web College, around five; And new money donations, around $25 – With the 10 hours Greg spent over four days last week standing on highway medians handing CureDrive bumper stickers to drivers at stoplights, the difference is startling. We may be experiencing cure attaining an escape velocity from the gravitational field of the dark. In his 10 hours on the highway median Greg was able to: 1. Ask around 3500 drivers to put the CureStickers on their cars -- that's 7 times the 500 people that looked at our web college, and that doesn't even reflect the many more who saw him asking; 2. Get pledges that they would put stickers on their cars from 250 drivers who took stickers, as compared to our 50 new CureDrive members, or better yet our five new colleagues; 3. And receive approximately $535 in donations -- that's over 21 times the $25 donated by new colleagues on the Web. And all this is not to mention however many thousands of people will see the stickers on the cars in months coming. Yes, this is literally unbelievable. And I never would have believed, or pursued it, had I not witnessed it, and done it, for myself. What I'm saying here is not meant to in any way to downplay the inspiring courage of our new colleagues and members who last week launched their tiny crafts on the turbulent waters of discipline and learning, bound for immunity. Obviously, some of the drivers who took CureStickers will soon BE them. And some of the people who see the stickers on cars will soon be them. The sole purpose of the stickers is to cause more of them to be. I simply mean to say that because I witnessed what Greg did, and actually went out on the highway and did it myself that it has become obvious to me that we have on the highway real recognition of the CureDrive by people who feel genuine intention in their hearts to participate. And when you think about this in terms of ESCAPE VELOCITY, it becomes clear that while our global Web efforts are the key to world cure, and handing out CureStickers merely supports those efforts -- the CureSticker literally is the Web address: it says “CureDrive.org, 42,000 cures and counting” -- it is far easier for cure to attain escape velocity from the darkness at a stoplight on the highway. When you save one human being, you've saved all Humanity. And I guess there are a lot of people driving around who already know that at least one human being has been saved, and maybe even thousands; and they are willing to help us tell the others by putting a bumper sticker on their car.
