Guest guest
>>what is the difference between a Hidascan and an Ultrasound. I understand >>an Ultrasound well, so I just need to know what a Hidascan is. Thanks, Ben In a Hidascan, they injest some slightly radioactive dye into your bloodstream, then they lay you under a special camera, which tracks the progression of the dye through your system. You can watch it as it goes through your liver, etc. It is supposed to show if you have any type of blockage in your system. My gallbladder showed no blockage, but I think the stones must have just slid back out of the cystic duct during that time. Guest guest
Well, I had the Hidascan, more less a painless experience and should have the results in less than a week. I'll let you know the update considering my ultrasounds were negative... Troy __________________________________________________
