Guest guest
Please forward this because it saves lives. -- -- -- The recent death of my friend, , raised some important questions for me, and I realized that I ought to write a warning for those of you who are doing well. The essence of the warning is " don't get too cocky, " but there's really a lot more to it than that. was an invincible immuner, who seemed to have nothing wrong with him, and then died suddenly. He taught immunics to everyone around him. We've spoken to some of them since his death, and it's obvious that he was a good teacher -- they're good at immunics! I don't know what actually happened to , but I think that now is a good time, before I find out for sure what did, to talk about scenarios, because even if one of these scenarios didn't happen to him, they might happen to you. And I don't want any unnecessary casualties in this war. The question here is, what happens after you've cured the stuff you came in with? Is there is still danger? What happens after the cure? The more sinister question is, how much self-indulgence can you get away with -- correct the negative effects of -- with immunics? -- -- -- I'm going to go into two scenarios here, but there's a lot more to it than those. Scenario number one: cured COPD and emphysema around five months ago. Could he have had a sudden attack, which killed him? Well, since the results are not back from the medical examiner, we don't know, but whether that happened or not, it could. That's why I wrote this before I heard those results: I want to talk about it, even if it didn't happen. Even if that's not what took out, I want to warn you about it. Let's say you cure asthma. It's gone for six months. You keep checking for it in your higher bodies, and you never find it anymore. Don't throw away your inhalers. Keep them handy, in the same places you always kept them, for a very long time. Years, maybe. Maybe always, because if you wake up in an asthmatic state, you may be off-balance and not think to do immunics, or do it improperly; or the attack may just come over you too quickly, and it may kill you. Immunics cures things. And, as we all have already experienced -- if you've even done a little immunics, you've experienced this -- THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU WILL CURE THE THING THAT YOU HAVE TO CURE IN THE MOMENT WHEN IT STARTS TO RUN OVER YOU. And maybe you usually do cure it. But usually doesn't mean always. Don't quit the day job: keep the inhalers handy. Scenario number two: had some bad habits. Most of us do, when we start immunics, and some of us use immunics to get them under control, and some of us don't want to get them under control. didn't want to get his under control. Some that I saw when he visited me were: he woke himself up with coffee; he drank several beers in the evening; he smoked. These habits deplete vitamins and minerals. Minerals are a balance. It's not a matter of having high minerals, or vitamins, but of having the right BALANCES between minerals like iron, zinc, and copper. If you use extreme substances, such as coffee, cigarettes, and beer, day in and day out, the unbalancing is extreme. 's face showed marks of the habits -- he looked old for 65. He was also a skinny guy with a beer belly. Is it possible that the level of some mineral necessary to operate his heart plummeted, and had a sudden heart attack, or other organ failure? You can't use immunics to get away with stuff such as coffee, cigarettes, and beer. Immunity doesn't license indulgence. The stuff you " get away with " will catch up to you with. Trying to get away with things is a cornerstone of the " addiction " immune dysfunction. had some addiction, and he was protective of it. His protectiveness of things that should have been removed may have killed him. -- -- -- I know would feel good about my using his death as the basis for an e-mail that helps people avoid pitfalls, even if these particular ones were not anything he fell into. And, if we ever find out what the real cause of 's death was, well, might again help the living with that one. was a great teacher of immunics; he continues to teach. It occurs to me that, right before his death did a series of wonderful things, the kinds of things that would bring closure to any life. He took a cross-country drive which he loved, as a FEMA inspector and, in that role, helped a lot of people here in Florida – taught immunics to over a dozen of them when he inspected their houses. He stopped by for an overnight visit with us. And then, right before he died, he visited his mother. So it seems to me that went out like an immuner; he gave himself the good things. We Immuners may make mistakes, have addictions, or indulge ourselves, but you know what? We've still got it better than most people. And I still want you to stay around as long as you possibly can, and help me with this war, till we win. Then we can, presumably, go our separate ways, if we so choose. This little note is, I guess, the best Memorial for that I can manage. I will set it up to be sent repeatedly, every few months. This Cure Drive needs more warnings. After the cure, we die. The question that will remain for all of us is when, and how.
