Guest guest
hi Becky, I have CMT and my Son has CMT, we both have speech problems. My Son spent many years in speech therapy. We both had major ear problems as small children. Ear infections and fluid in the ears. We both have problems with correct pronunciation on some words and we both get very tongue tied and stutter if we don't slow down and think carefully what we are going to say. I am not sure if it is related to CMT or not. But I think it is. I have read many Some CMT persons have problems with their ears. I don't actually have ringing in my ears but I do get a sound that sounds like a straight pitch tone. It last only for about 30 seconds. I have had this as far back as I can remember. good luck with your daughter. Carol
