Membership and quorum requirements for ethics committee (EC)

Dear Dr. Vijay sir,

I am completely agree with you sir. Though it is recommended that, there should be diversity of the members who collectively have the qualifications and experience to review and evaluate the science, medical aspects, and ethics of the proposed trial, it doesn't happen in reality. Most of them are silent observers and their role is upto fulfilling the necessary quorum requirement.
