Guest guest
What can I do?? The story of patients: All the patients are the children's of A1 & A2. The father and the mother are first cousins. The patients had all the immunization shots on time. They were born without any symptoms. The symptoms started when they were 1-2 years old. All the patients had corrective surgery to extend the foot tendon when they were three years old. Surgery helped but did not solve the problem. The symptoms are progressive. As the patients get older their situation get worse. Patients according to their order in family: 1. H: 26 years , female. 2. A: 23 years , male. 3. I: 16 years , female. The problem was started when she two years old. At the beginning it was really bad. As she got older the situation worsen. When she was 6-10 years old she was able to play with other kids. At age 11-14 she needed to someone to help her in walking. With the time the situation was getting even worse. She had a hard time walking even with the help of others. At the age 19 she resort to use a moving wheel and she still use it till now. Right Hand: She can’t straighten her right hand or fingers unless she shakes her hand. Fingers will almost straighten out for a few seconds then they will bend again, and she can straighten them out if she puts pressure on the back of the of the hand near the wrist. The fingers will bend again after a few seconds. She has no problem in moving her hand from the wrist, from the elbow, or from the shoulder. Writing is getting more difficult as her finger muscles are getting weaker. Right Hand: Fingers are straight. She has no control over the fingers. She has no control over the wrist either. The hand looks like it is loose. She can move her arm from the elbow and shoulder. Right Leg: The foot is not flat on the floor. She has control over ankle movement, and she can’t twist the foot to the right. She also has control over the knee movement. The thump sometimes has uncontrollable fast movement. It doesn’t hurt. The right leg and right hand have almost the same symptoms. Left Leg: No control over the ankle movement. She has some control over knee movement, but it’s not complete control. She can’t raise her leg forward. It looks like it is loose, just like the left hand. The other patients suffering from the same symptoms and having and having approximately the same problems your friends H.A.N
