Hi Cathleen: Glad to hear about your family. It's bad enough to have CMT, much less than to be so poor as was your aunt. Sounds like your family was not acquainted with CMT diagnosis-- as was my family-- We all knew the symptoms and worried mothers constantly worried about their children and could see the tell-tale symptoms. Do you have folks around Corning, Arkansas? I had a ton of relatives there, but most have left or died by now. There might be a family thread there. Guest guest Posted January 2, 2004 Report Share Posted January 2, 2004 I live about 60 miles from corning Arkansas. my family originates in Nahville Arkansas and Fort then moved to Texas in the 1930's. I still have some distant cousins in those areas. it has been interesting following my family tree. when I moved up here I laughed and told my father I was just getting back to my roots.
