Guest guest
Hi Marti, My accountantl has me save ALL medical/health/meds/PT/scriptsfitness costs, etc. for the year. I add up my out of pocket cost - (NOT whas insurance pays), but the co-pays and also for the Fitness/Pool/Pilates stuff. So then that out of pocket sum gets itemized on my taxes. Other things here too, such as dentail visits, mileage deductions if I have to travel to a doctor or dentist (2 of which are in Los Angeles for me) Out here car registration is also deductible! Far as I know there is no threshold, or a certain % of ones income. Best to get this straight from your accountant, tho. No kidding about Pilates as a hard workout. I was so surprised after the first session on how hot I was, how my heart was beating, and how I had stretched...PLUS being so calm. I am all for calm ~ Gretchen
