I have worn wrestling shoes by Nike, Adidas and Asics and both work really

well. I

checked the web site you mentioned and their prices do seem to be pretty decent.

If

you go to that website and look at the Asics youth shoes I have had a pair of

those in

black before also. The traction in them is great and if you need a flat shoe

with no

arch support then they are incredible. And, they are a geat conversation piece;

I can't

tell you how many guys would come up to me and ask me if I was a wrestler.

Lol...yeah, at 5' 2 " and under 100 lbs I don't think so. :-)

Seriously though, if you have a good sporting good store you may want to go try

a

pair first. I'm not sure if finding shoes is as much a pain for you as it

always was/is

for me but it always made me feel like Cinderella's wicked step-sister trying to

squeeze into the glass slipper. There's no way I could mail order shoes without

trying

them out first.

It's worth a try!

Thanks for the advice. Never thought of those. What a great idea!

Sounds like you know exactly what I need. I also can't wear any heel

due to being thrown off balance with the AFOs. Still on the search

for a cute shoe, but since they are being worn with the AFOs, guess

cute is out anyway!

Anyone have any advice on how to still look elegant in a skirt? Most

of the time now I will wear the long skirts or a pants suit for work,

but only being 5 feet tall, the long skirts tend to overwhelm me and

then in the winter they tend to get caught up in the wind and then

wrap around my legs!

Also, does anyone know whether it is Ok to take the Vitamin C on an

empty stomach? Sometimes I don't like eating when I first wake up and

find I may not eat until noon.
