Guest guest
Hi Deb, Many of us have had the same surgery. It is so worth the pain. Make sure you take your pain pills a little before they are due to give them a chance to work before they wear off. Are you doing both feet at once? Having one done you can still function just very carefully. Having both done is way more tricky.
Guest guest
Your list of foot surgeries sounds just like those that I've had over the past 4 years. I had a 1st toe , a plantar Fascia release, a dwyer calcaneal osteotomy and a dosiflexion osteotomy as well as the longus brevis transfer. I am thrilled with the results of all and would do it all over in a heartbeat! I had my surgery done in Philadelphia. Where are you located? I noticed improvement as soon as I was able to walk without my boot. Let me know if I can answer any questions. I know it is very stressful trying to make decisions like this. I had 4 opinions in all over the course of a year prior to the surgery. Rae
