Let me re-emphasize what is about: we share our PERSONAL EXPERIENCES with CMT here, not our opinions. If we stick to personal experience, that becomes respectful and fruitful - " opinions " can cause arguments and dissent. I watched an entire CMT list disband about 6 years ago because of this. Now, while I have no experience with pregnancy, as the Moderator, I will share that there are two avenues to look into regarding this issue: 1) prenatal testing and 2) pre-implantation genetic diagnosis - for not passing on the CMT gene to children.
