Guest guest
thanks for all the good info judy and diana...i just got back from seattle, was gone a couple ofdays, tired as usual so i will make it short for now. thanks for all the good diet advice. i eat lots of protein, mostly red meat and take milk thistle, will try some anti oxidants you mentioned. i lost SO much weight at the begining of tx that i eat what i want when i want now that my nausea is mostly passed. (i am told i am still to thin, but i figure hey-it'll all come back with a vengence soon, so why not enjoy it now?) my genotype is type 1 with no subtype. all my dr told me is that my biopsy showed " there is definently something going on in there " i left it at that. i have 2 kids my 19 yo son moved to boston 2 weeks ago. happy for him, sad for me. my daughter turns 18 in about 2 weeks..she's very understanding and helpful, but she's a busy young girl. i got invited to go to philly next week..what are your opinions on flying with potentially low wbc's? i'm thinking mask on the plane, because of risk of infection and SARS...or do you all think that thats a little overboard (i will be flying seattle to philly. probably about a 5-6 hr flight) my dr never called back w/his opinion, and we have no support group in this area.
