Here is a link to some informationn on stress and CMT from past issues

of a CMT newsletter. http://www.cmtnews.com/Stress/Stresssubtitles.html

Sounds like you are doing everything possible to stay in Pre-K. Perhaps

your doctor can advise you further. While I am not familiar with

elementary schools, in the high school, I had alot of flex time and time

between classes. (like 4 hours)

I am also wondering if, under the ADA, some accommodations could be made

for you regarding the first grade required 'walk around the room' during

the 45 minutes of math.

I am a teacher as well, although I am only subbing currently. It may

and may not be because of your disability. The same thing is

happening to a friend of mine this year--she has always taught 4th or

5ht grade, is being moved to 2nd, yet there is a 4th grade opening.

It sounds as if there are a whole lot of politics going on in your

school as well. I hate to say it, but could they be doing this to

force you to retire or take disability so they can hire someone lower

on the pay scale? Personally, I think you need to go over the

principal's head on this issue. You have made a reasonable request

under the ADA guidelines.

Please keep us posted as to what you find out, or feel free to e-mail

me.

Good luck!
