Gretchen - I did have an MRI done. The doc that did the

injections said that often injuries in Facet Joints will not

show on an MRI. He said that my MRI showed no problems other

than scoliosis (which is not the problem). Another friend who

also had back problems suggested that I have a spine specialist

look at the films. My current doc is actually a pain management

doctor / anasthialogist that specializes in back pain. So I'm

actually not sure now if I should see a specialist for a

consult or not. The clinic he works for is found at

http://www.denverpainmanagement.com/ . They are one of the top

clinics in the US - that's one reason I'm not ready to move on

yet to another doctor. But maybe you may have an opinion on

this? You may have said but i don't remember - what was wrong

with your back and what were all of the treatments? Sorry if I

keep repeating myself - I'm just desperate to find answers and

a treatment that actually works!

Also - thanks for the tips on highlighting the pain journal. It

did not occur to me that the highlighter would smear the ink -

although I know you're right. I will take your advice and use

different color ink for special " notes " to my doctor. Thanks

again for all your help. I really do apreciate how much help

you've been and for actually answering my questions instead of

just sending me off to other websites - which don't necessarily

help me. I've been researching this CMT and Back injury for a

year now - and you've been my greatest resource with actual

answers and opinions. Thanks again!
