Hello, My name is April, I am 34 years old, and am too

sitting here with another sprained ankle, because of my

stubborness towards not ready to wear my ill fitting AFOs.

I was amazed that someone had wrote of the very same situation

I am currently in.

I am currently waiting to receive some shoe orthotics that my

poditrist just molded. He felt that I really should go with

my AFOs but was willing for me to rule out all my options. I

wish I could accept wearing AFOs but I get so upset thinking

about it.

I don't really understand why, I am not a vain person, dress

very casual, very seldom wear makeup, and wear my hair

naturally, but still am not ready to wear those AFOs and know

that eventually I am going to have to get over this. I would

really appreciate hearing from others about their past

hesitations, and similiar experiences. Thanks for letting me

vent. Take Care.

April from Maine
