Guest guest
Hello, My name is Betty Ann and I was diagnosed with Hep C last year. I have been on peg-intron and rebetol and wish that all of you would do as well as I have. I got the aches and still do but no headaches. Was nauseated in the beginning but relied on ginger snap chews from Trader Joes. My biggest is the runs and itching. Unfortunately I still drink my vino. Yes, I too don't feel like getting out of bed but I decided when I was diagnosed that nothing was going to stop me come Hell or High Water. Believe me, I understand everything you all have be going thru. Fortunately I'm on the count down. 8 MORE WEEKS. Please feel free to e-mail with questions. I'm an RN and we still aren't sure where the Hep C came from. Back in the Late 70's we never wore gloves or protected ourselves from others fluids. Who knows. Good to just read all the e-mails and know there are many of us out there. Hep C is at epidemic proportions and this is very scary. Of course there is now D-G. So who knows. I pray all of us will be cured and can keep living ours lives. God Bless Betty Ann

Guest guest
Congratulations on only 8 weeks left to go! You probably know this, but I'll say it anyway. To give your liver the best chance, please try not to drink alcohol. Do you know your genotype? I wish you the best with your treatment. I've been lucky; I have been in remission for two years (genotype 3a). Take care, > Hello, > My name is Betty Ann and I was diagnosed with Hep C last year. Guest guest
I'm still feeling fine. I went in for more blood tests last week and then will have another appointment. Remember I am the one who decided not to do anything for right now but after being on this hotline for this long, I am going to ask to be put on the waiting list. I have prayed about this alot and I feel that the time is right. I have 1a and my reasoning for not doing it was the odds weren't great but now there are a lot of people getting good results. If I hadn't stumbled across this group though, I would still be dragging my feet. I don't want to be sick but then I realize that I will eventually be much sicker. This is a great group. --- oceaneyes38 <hanna@...> wrote: > Edajane, I sent the pencil drawings again. You > have to click on the > attatments to get them though. I hope you enjoy > them.
