Guest guest
Hi, I take neurontin for peripheral neuropathy symptoms. I occasionally take baclofen for muscle cramps and spasms. Usually 2 or 3 times per month when cramps are really bad. I used to take vioxx and celebrex. They worked very well but they damaged my kidneys, so beware of all meds in this family. I take an occasional relafin for overall aches and it works fair. wade
Guest guest
Hi , Everyone reacts a little differently to pain meds depending on your system, symptoms and illnesses. Celebrex definately helped with my pain worth every penny when I initially flared. I would caution you to get your blood work done regularly as it can affect the liver. That said, it helped me when I was initially diagnosed last year. Good luck, Jane in Michigan In a message dated 6/7/2010 8:08:46 P.M. I have Fibromyalgia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Raynauds, and possibly Lupus. I have tried Voltaren-it didn't work at all for 1 week and then was not as strong as motrin. I tried naproxin for three days and it didn't help at all and my knees swelled up so bad that I stopped it and went back to motrin. I tried mobic and it worked wonders but it caused stomach pain so I had to stop it. And last but not least, I tried amitriptiline and it was very helpful but made me sleepy all the time and it made my heart race. Today my rheumy gave me a script for celebrex but when I took it to the pharmacy they said that my doctor would have to write a letter to the insurance company to get the drug approved-I have no idea how long that will take. In the meantime, I thought I would see what has worked for you all that is inexpensive if possible. It is going to cost me $40 a month for the Celebrex even after m y insurance approves it. Thanks,

Guest guest
Thanks , I know that there are pain specialists in my area. I would just have to see which ones are covered by my insurance but the tricky thing is that I can't take narcotics or I could lose my job. Thanks for the information on celebrex. I did know that it is supposed to be easier on the stomach.
