Hi

I just got a cortisone shot today in the knee. I had no problems with the

injection. The doctor said it is going to burn. Nope not at all, just the

pressure of it going in about did me in. But besides the discomfort from the

pressure, I had no problem with it and its been 16 hours since.

I, too, had a rebound effect from a 40 mg cortisone shot. I am very

sensitive to drugs and I think this was just too much for me. Much smaller

dose cortisone injections into a specific joint used to give me relief that

lasted for several months.
