Well now that this week is over and all the doctor appointments

have been taken care of (all 5) I well bring you all up to date

on me. lol

Well the first neurologist started out as to how I have been

doing since my last visit. Well they all started out with that

question. I ran through my list, tripping.... loss of balance..

... fatique.... aches and pains.... carpal tunnel.... how the

rolling walker with the seat isn't doing me any good, since I

sit more than walk.... with it.... can;t take a shower any more

with the pain because I can't stand on the left foot and have

to keep it up in air while I shower....because the muscle on

the bottom of the foot has zaped away..... can't even think

about a bath, cause I dont have the strength to push myself up

out of the tub anymore.....covered bases on the osteoarthritise

in the left knee and the 40 cc of fluid they took out earlier

that morning again.....weakness in the hands and more in

the legs. I went through this with 2 neurologists, 2 bracing

doctors, the therapist, and assistants and MDA. Final

conclusion. AND THIS ABOUT SHOCKED ME, between 5 appointments

all with differant doctors, they came up with same conclusion

as follows:

Deteriating more rapidly in the last year than in any other time frame

previously. (Wow I knew that one)

Must be removed from the AFO on the left foot, and put into an

double up right again on the left as the right already has one

on it.Wrist braces for sleeping due to the carpal tunnel

Yeppie, I get new shoes again. New Balance here I come, with

my $80 bucks for sure.

I got a shower bench from MDA. Oh how wonderful it is to

shower with no pain. Awsome. They said get rid of the rolling

walker with seat, its no good for me anymore. They ordered an

ok for a scooter. MDA has a cap on those of $2,000. That will

help pay for half of it, and they want me to get a scooter

with a lift seat which well put me up higher. And the lift

seats cost between 1,000 to $1400. So here we go again.

And they wonder how the hell I can work 2 jobs at times. I

have to, just to pay my share of all this stuff they say

I have to have. Oh goodness. And the reason for the lift seat

is that they do not think I will be on my feet and walking in

about 2 years and to get prepared for that. I told them I

would walk into those offices in 3 years and prove 'em all wrong.
