Guest guest
Helen, I wanted to respond to the fatigue issue you mentioned. It wasn't until I learned to pace myself in activities and not do everything at once or prove anything, etc., that my great fatigue complaint was gone. But remember, this has been a lifetime of evolution of my CMT. When I was in high school (1960's) my fatigue was treated with Ritalin 2X a day and also I received extra potassium supplements. Nowdays if I feel tired, I just nap if I can. Just maybe an hour, but it is wonderful. Also, my fatigue a long time ago was about my CMT muscles having to work twice as hard to do half the work. I feel that would tired anyone out, CMT or not. Focusing and learning the limits of my body has been a great help. I just wish it wasn't so trial and error. ~ Gretchen
