Guest guest Posted September 21, 2003 Report Share Posted September 21, 2003 Mieke, if you have a normal (OK) EMG, that is a sign of Type CMT II. Ask your doctors WHY they DO NOT THINK you have CMT Type II. As for diagnosis, I was first diagnosed with CMT, then later in life diagnosed with 1/2 dozen other diseases, only to come back to a diagnosis of " some type of neuronal form of CMT " - as a result of my latest EMG, which showed all nerves in normal range and reinnervation. ~ Gretchen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
