Guest guest
Hi , I am very sorry that you are dealing with cancer. My advice is what I would do not that you should do it. I would call the City of Hope and ask them the cmt cancer treatment question and also ask for a list of known neurotoxins. Sorry I couldn't have been more help. jenny
Guest guest
The first drug on CMT's " forbidden " list, is the chemo drug to avoid. I am not sure of the spelling but it is something like Adriamyacin. My sister took it for breast cancer (4 treatments) and if the cancer ever returns, she will not be able to take it again, because it is very hard on the heart.. Guest guest
Hi Sharon, Thank you very much for responding to the email .... unfortunately 's situation does not allow for the " surveillance " option. His tumor is " multi-cell non-seminoma " , highly aggressive and must be treated with the chemo drugs. I WISH it had been the other variety .......... but He is seeing a neurologist and pulmonologist this week and next before they start chemo, and I Think they've/we've asked enough questions to drive them crazy!!!! Thanks for all your prayers and support.
