Guest guest
, Several chemo drugs are on the list of " do not take " due to more neuropathy. Adriamycin I believe is the breast cancer one, I had a milder version when I received chemo due to that complication. I don't think they say NEVER take them, but they do say contraindicated. I don't know what drugs they prescribe for testicular cancer, but tell him not to worry, chemo today is SO much better than just 5 years ago evidently. Tell him to follow the list of anti nausea stuff they tell you to do, they'll send him home with a timed sheet of what to take when, and if they are anything like the breast cancer people, they'll adjust things til they get it right, and he'll be doing fine much faster than he thinks he will! Guest guest
Thank you Martha, I am so worried for him, as you might imagine. I sometimes think that these things are harder for the " other people " than the person going through it. Thank you VERY much for the encouraging words. I do know that they are doing a baseline conductivity test (before chemo starts) just to see how things go. That is reassuring as well; seems they are taking it seriously. Thanks again,
