Guest guest
Consent in case of minors Minors are not to be considered expressionless, dummies or uneducated. They have equal right to be decide about their participation in the CT. It is not so that parents have given consent on behalf of minors, signed the consent form and children can be used in CT. The opinion of minors does matter and should be considered. Even if parents give consent but the minor does not wish to participate, they can not be coerced or forced to join the CT. The principle is that minors also have a right to choice and decide. Dr Vijay Thawani
