jumpiness feeling

I was very interested in the " jumping " you describe as I experience

that too - always when I am sleeping or very relaxed. I thought it

was just a weird thing about me! It also seems the nights I have

that jumping feeling are the nights when the cramping (lower legs and

feet especially) is the worst. Somehow it helps to know other people

have the same issues....

Thanks, Gretchen for the info and links re: CMT1B.

Quite helpful.

Electric shocks and jolts are quite common with

CMT persons. I used to feel as if I were being

electrocuted from the inside. :-( After a few years

that mostly went away and I had wrenching spasms

instead. We're all so different, we don't usually

have the same symptoms (same and different).

I get the jumpiness usually at night. some nights

they are so bad I run my hubby out of bed. this

CMT is so wierd. I have very little feeling in my

hands and legs yet the inside elictic shock feelings

and jumpiness are really intense. I have and sense

of humor and it is a goood thing because if I am sitting

in as group of people and the jumpiness starts I just

make a face and tell them it is my new exercise program.
