over all achy feelings I had.

Lodine is an anti-inflammatory medication that requires a prescription.

Others requiring prescriptions are Celebrex, Vioxx, Relafen, Naprosyn. Over

the counter it would be medications such as Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, or

Aleve.

I AM USING LODINE SINCE MOBIC NO LONGER WORKS FOR ME. THE

ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT IS NOT A SLOW RELEASE MEDICATION SO YOU

NEED TO TAKE IT AT MULTIPLE INTERVALS THROUGH OUT THE DAY.

I ALSO AM TAKING DARVOSET FOR PAIN AS ARTHRITIS IS NOW

COMPLICATING THINGS FOR ME.

Hello Dawn!

I take Lodine 2x daily for pain. So far, it is the only NSAID that has worked

for me. I have a sensitive stomach and this is the one I've tolerated the best.

I would fill the prescription and try it, you may feel better.

Hi everyone, i dont post much but that doesnt mean i dont care for each and

every one of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I was given a

prescription for lodine and told to use it as needed. Have any of you had

good luck with this? I am on so many meds that i really dont know if i

should take this or not. Does it help or is it yet another drug... any

input appreciated.

Dawn, I took Clinoril for years until my mistake of a Rummy took it from me

because of a questionable blood test result. When I couldn't take the pain

any more, I went back to my old Rheumy. He gave my Lodine to take twice a

day, and from then on, I feel better than I have in 15 years, with no side

effects. I can assure you it's not " yet another drug " . It's a necessary part

of life for lots of us. I am surprised you were told to take it 'as needed'.

Seems to me you'd take it on a regular basis, but what do I know? ;) Take

it and see what happens.
