Car Accident - Again!

And the hits just keep on coming - LITERALLY. So today I had an

appointment with my GP, which went very well. He filled out my

referral for the MDA and gave me samples of Nuerotin (which I'm

hoping will help with the pain enough so I can stop taking Vicodin).

He is also going to give me samples of Ultram/Ultracet in a week or

so if the Neurotin doesn't provide enough pain relief.

Anyhow, I was leaving the parking lot, stopped and waiting to turn on

the the main road and BAM. I get rear-ended. Hard enough that my

almost empty can of pop splattered soda all over the dash - w/ out

the pop can falling out of the holder. So before I can even get out

of the car two large men come up to my driver side window and

says " nothing happened " in a threatening voice. Immediately I

grabbed my cell phone and punched in 911 - left my finger on " send "

just in case it was needed and proceeded to get out of my car. Then

it hits me that I have a 7-month old daughter in the car and these

two men just basically threatened me from reporting the accident or

anything. I looked at the back of my Jimmy - didn't see much damage

other than scratches. The whole time I'm looking at my car they're

still saying threatening things to me. So I said " fine " got back in

my car and just drove away. Obviously my life is more important than

a few scratches on a car.

The really frustrating thing about this is I've finally got my back

pain/injuries under control and now I'm in the same kind of pain I

was a year ago with my first accident (which wasn't my fault

either). So I guess now I have the joy of starting everything all

over again. Boy, it just doesn't end. Anyhow - I know this was

long, but wanted to do a little venting. Thanks for listening!

Take care, in CO
