Yes I have gained the knowledge that with my CMT healing takes longer,

thats why I opted not to have knee replacement. I was told it could take 3

times longer to heal. That would be a bout 6 months instead of 8 weeks.

Lorna and Elaine,

When my orthopedic surgeon said my back surgery healing would take about

a year, I just figured I'd add 6 months to that. But the most remarkable

thing happened, at only 6 months after surgery, I ended up way ahead of

schedule and was completely returned to normal activities, even lifting
