Guest guest
Hi, some sources of info for the flush include http://www.sensiblehealth.com/ (excellent site with loads of info) (Info from Ken) My typical flush consists of 3-5 days of organic apple juice (ideally 1/2 gallon a day. The day of the flush I drink my 1/2 gallon or more in the morning. By then things are already flushing! A very light lunch at 12.00 Disodium phosphate at 2:00 and agin at 4:00 p.m. Fasting until 11:00 p.m. Then 1/2 to 3/4 cup organic extra virgin olive oil with a little lemon juice in the mix. Straight to bed, knee up on the right side for 20-30 minutes. Usually I go sound asleep until 6:00 a.m. All that comes out for the next 3-6 hours are clumps and stones... no digested food! Why apple juice? ... I understand that the apple juice has a number of functions: 1) Acts to stimulate the liver to spill bile! Yes, you don't go running to the restroom constantly beacuse of the apple juice alone... Chemicals (god ones) in the juice cause the liver to spill bile and acts as a grea laxative to get everything moving. Most flushers feel a huge discomfort in the upper abdomin area when we drink a lot of apple juice. The first day I can feel my bile flowing out to the juice and it gives me a sick, uncomfortable feeling for 15-20 minutes until I run to the restroom and purge. Why organic aplle juice? Can you even imagine the concentration of pesticides and chemicals you will get if it is not organic!? 2) Getting everything moving and cleaned out is essential for the flush to be effective. If the liver and gallbladder sense that things are backed up... they are smart enough not to send all they got as it will only cause further problems down the line. 3) The olive oil doesn't lubricate anything, it is as you surmise, the fat necessary for the gallbladder to erupt. Why not saturated fat????? Because some of us would die!!!! of a heart attack!!! Saturated fats not only would get the gallbladder to erupt, but also would immediately go to the heart by sludging up the blood. Many heart attacks come after fatty meals from sludgy blood... why do you think the say take an aspirin a day to keep the blood thinned? 4) The liver and gb sense that all is clear and it is ok to give everything they got to digest the olive oil. Dale's colonic seems to provide the same effect. It is quite possible that the olive oil gets up into the common duct and helps to lubricate it while the stones pass. 5) Disodium phosphate or epsom salts clean out the body completely prior to the flush... perhaps the also help to expand the ducts. Friends of mine clain to have " grape sized " stones that come out. Doctor's seem to believe that the largest stone that can pass is 1 inch in diameter. That is still huge! I hope this is helpful... ken a. (Also see below for a whole list of cleanses:) http://home.online.no/~dusan/index.html Hope this helps. Guest guest
Wow....that is your typical flush? I have questions though, and here are my symptoms. I was born jaundice, and I was put under lights for a couple of days after birth. About 4 years ago, I went to a specialist to have my liver checked out because my eyes still have a tint of yellow and it gets worse under certain conditions. He tested my blood and found that my bilirubin level fluctuates according to such factors as lack of sleep, stress, and lack of water. He also did an ultrasound and found gallstones in my gallbladder. He proceeded to tell me that they don't normally do anything for gallstones unless they start causing problems. But I'm tired of my eyes and sometimes my skin having this yellowish color and would like to clean out my liver and also get rid of my gallstones. According to Dr. 's recipe, it asks for 1/2 cup of olive oil, 3 lemons, 4 tablespoons epsom salts and 3 cups of water. Am I supposed to blend all of this and drink it all at once? I would think that it would be disgusting and would completely make you vomit. Please tell me how to get myself going to get my first cleanse out of the way. Thank you so much... > > I sent a post to this group, because I've been doing > > alot of research > > on my condition and symptoms, and I need help!! > > > > Someone help me, someone who was successful with > > their first > > cleanse!! Guest guest
My flushes are those found in Dr. Hulda 's book " Cure for all Diseases " . The flushes listed are those I cut and pasted from previous emails from people who have done them. I have put my comments in ( ). If you go to the sites I listed in the email you will have nearly all of your questions answered. Best to you, Matty --- buffalosauce@... wrote: > Wow....that is your typical flush? Guest guest
Hi ! No the ingredients you list are taken at different times... Apple juice for 3-5 days, epsom salts in two mixtures with water 2-5 hours before the olive oil and again in the morning. The 1/2-3/4 cup olive oil right before you go to bed can be mixed with lemon or grapefruit juice for better taste. If gallstones were found, it is possible that you were born with some of them. Newborns are known to have gallstones. I believe that jaundice comes from a blockage of the common duct. Go for the flush! You will see if it clears up any of your symptoms or makes them better. May I suggest... that you could also have a blockage that is a result of your formation in the womb. Perhaps one of your ducts is not fully open, etc. You would think that your doctors could test you for some of this. The flush can't hurt... and could help, especially with the dectected stones. I have doubts about passing the calcified stones, but 80% of stones are cholestorol. Good Luck, ken
Guest guest
OK, I think I have this straight. 1) Drink organic apple juice for 3-5 days before the flush. (I can still eat though right??) 2)2 different cups of epsom salts with water....taking one mixture 2- 5 hours before I take the olive oil at night, and then another when I wake up the following morning. That's 2 tablespoons of epsom salts per mixture. And I can only mix the epsom salts with water? I would think that the epsom salts would be the thing that would make a person gag! Has everyone had a hard time taking down the epsom salts? 3)I take the olive oil right before I go to bed. And this is a 1/2 cup of olive oil that I can mix with grapefruit/lemon juice? I appreciate so much all of this help!! I can't wait to get started and see if I have any results. -- > Hi ! > > No the ingredients you list are taken at different times... Guest guest
; I usually will drink fresh squeezed apple juice as part of a fast before doing a flush. I usually will do it 2 to 3 days before the flush, drinking around a half gallon a day. Basically drinking when I tend to get hungry at first and then to quench my thirst. However you can eat normally too and have just as good of a result. Just don't eat anything after 14:00 on the day of your flush, and try not to eat any saturated or hydrogenated fat foods many days before the flush. Regarding the laxative mixture of Epsom salts; That is 4 tablespoons or 12 teaspoons in 24 ounces of water. Then at 18:00 six ounces of it is drank, another 2 hours later another 6 ounces is drank. At 22:00 the concoction of oil and grapefruit or lemon or both is drank and you go to bed. If you feel you're going to need to use the rest room a couple of times more then wait before taking the concoction. The amount that I tend to use is eight ounces of oil and about the same amount of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, but then I'm 230 lbs and tall. The reason for fresh squeezed juice is because it will tend to mix better with the oil to allow you to down it with a little less thickness and more flavor. If you can find a light cold pressed virgin olive oil it tends to be a bit easier for many to get down. I tend towards using the stuff with real gusto, and it ain't too cheap either at about $0.50 per ounce even though there are others even more expensive. If you consider the taste of the Epsom salts as mineral water you'll probably find it really doesn't taste all that bad. In fact I find that the fasting helps me to deal with the downing of the Olive oil too. It's amazing just how good something can taste when you're fairly starved. There is also one other benefit I keep noticing with the fast; I get to see the mini pot move in a little closer. Now if I could only keep with the sit-ups and other exercise it probably would get a lot closer. Guest guest
Dale: Wow. Thanks alot...that helps me enormously. I'm going to start with my pre-flush routine starting on this Sunday coming up. I'm only 22 years old, and I definitely don't want this causing more complications as I get older. Guest guest
Sorry but I just realized I forgot to tell you what to do with the rest of the Epsom salts mix; In the morning, upon wakening take another 6 ounces and then two hours later the last 6 ounces. If you started at around 06:00 then things should be happening around 09:00 or earlier. .................It really is an amazing process. Realize that the brown floating stuff may very well be cholesterol chaff. It tends to have a chunking feeling if it's move around to get to the little stones that may be floating amongst it. You'll be quite expert in a very short period of time, but you'll see with doing more that each time is usually different from the last.
