Guest guest
Inviting Nominations for Underprivileged Girls - Rai Foundation Dear All, Rai Foundation based in Delhi has launched the Gifted Girl and Genius Scholarship Program. In this scheme they plan to give fully free scholarships to select Girl Orphan and Underprivileged Girls to pursue and complete their higher studies from Bachelors to Masters and beyond at New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Bhopal and Faridabad Campuses. All the girls enrolled under this scholarship scheme will be assured of a good placement too. The courses being offered by them are UGC approved government degrees in Management, Hospitality, Media, Fashion, Healthcare, Engineering, Performing & Applied Arts, Design. They also provide transfer options and admissions to Foreign Universities for the distinguished. In addition their compulsory “Life Skills for Life” course includes communication skills, diverse thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, value system and social responsibility to further enhance the employability index of the girls. The Rai Foundation has approached AIMA to support them in identifying underprivileged girls from across the country. From our end we believe that there is no better way than to request our LMAs to identify underprivileged girls from their region. We firmly believe that bringing up these underprivileged girls from villages and remote parts of India into the mainstream will contribute towards inclusive growth and equity. I am writing to request you to please nominate few such needy girls from your region A line in confirmation from you to support this cause will be appreciated. Your recommendations may reach AIMA latest by 15th November 2007. With kind regards, Uma Oberoi
