From 1995 to 1998 I was the National Sales Manager (for Canada) of a company with it's headquarters in Camarillo, CA. I spent a great deal of time in California during this period of my life, and one of my favourite places is Thousand Oaks, CA. We would have at least two week long sales meeting in Thousand Oaks annually. What a great place. I managed to golf 9 holes every morning at 6:00 AM, and managed to talk to Mickey Rooney on the course one day. He needed a 7 iron so I let him use mine for a difficult shot he had. He made the shot!
