Guest guest
Hi everyone. My name is Susi and I was diagnosed with CMT in 1976. I am 52 now. I never learned what type of CMT I have. My dad has it very bad and a couple of years ago my daughter found out that she has it. My right foot and ankle is the worse. I can't move it, it just hangs there. I've been very stubborn about wearing AFOs because they hurt after awhile. I just had a new one ordered last week. Part of my problem is that I have Congestive Heart Failure and my feet and legs swell up which puts pressure on the brace. I live in Tuolumne, California. A very tiny town with a population of 1.750. Because of my health I can't work full time but I am a volunteer at the Mother Lode Christian School thrift store. I work there 3 days a week plus work nights once in awhile. I love it and it gets mne around people once in awhile. Thank you again for the invitation and i can't wait to meet everyone here.
