Guest guest
Amy - I have shoulder pain in my right shoulder around the shoulder blade that radiates down my arm. I did strain it about 8 years ago and in the process of doing physical therapy for the strain it was injured worse and was diagnosed as an actual sprain. It has not healed since then. It seems at least once every 6 months I re-sprain it. One doctor suggested surgery on it, but was pregnant at the time and could obviously not do anything for it. Now my current back specialist is saying that the pain actually comes from my neck - who knows. But to answer your question YES I have shoulder pain. No idea if it's CMT related. Logic would say no - other than if nerves were damaged in that area then they may not ever heal. Another posibility for the pain is Scoliosis. That is very prevelant among CMTers and I also have that. Although I've not had one doctor say that is what is causing my pain, but again, logic would say that's a possibility. Hope I helped a little. Take care,
