Hi Christin. Even a snail progresses. :-)))

Regarding therapy, be sure your PT knows about CMT (what it is and that it is

a nerve disease, rather than a muscle disease). Using is good, overusing can

use up what you have. Swimming and proper stretching can be very beneficial.

" pain is gain "

" go for the burn "

and those type attitudes are wrong for helping CMT.

Moderation is the key.

Just talking out your feelings can help anyone immensely.

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better now.

I too have a 5yr old. I have experienced the burden of guilt when it comes

to him. But for the good news...I just started ldn 2.5 weeks ago and there

is a huge difference. Also, I have been doing physical therapy since May of

this year. When I first started all I could do was 3 minutes of floor

stomach exercises and then I would become soo fatigued and out of it. Now I

joined what is called their gym membership and I go whenever I want.

Yesterday I did the machines and even the treadmill for 3 minutes!!! Keep

at it, it works.
