Guest guest
I don't know if side effects is the right word but here goes. I recently had a minor sinus wash operation. I was the last one down to the theatre and, as I was a day case, I had to be out of the ward at a certain time. I did not feel too good and told the nurse so, to no avail. I started to walk out with my wife and young daughter and the next thing I know is that I am on the floor after collapsing. I was put back in bed and i did the same thing again during the night while going to the washroom. I was discharged the next day but still did not feel right. I was then re-admitted and had a heart check to see if anything was wrong. When I went to see the heart specialist he told me that I had an irregular heart beat and would need a pacemaker. I then had other tests and went back to see the specialist and he told me everything was ok and nothing was going to be done. At the time I did not know about CMT, but after reading that CMT sufferers should have special attention when having general anesthetic because it could cause problems including the heart that I researched CMT. Has any one else had this problem? Another thing I get now and then is electric like surges through the body as if I have had an electric shock. Also, while I am writing this piece and other things on the computer my hands feel really weak as if I have no strength in them, any one else feel like this? Lastly, I have just come back from Canada, I feel really great and relaxed and not really tired. It will be interesting how I feel after a few days work. Maybe I should go on disability?
