Gretchen Thank you for all you do regarding CMT, and a

most heartily felt " Happy Birthday to " !

I am especially excited about the episode of " JAG "

with CMT since my mother and my best friend never miss

the show. My mother has a hard time dealing with

anything concerning CMT, mostly I think, because of

guilt feelings from having passed this condition to 3

of her 4 children. But if it just " happens " to " pop

up " on JAG I wonder what her reaction will be! Please

keep us informed of the dates for these shows! You

are really amazing!

Also in regard to the posting of the article " Quality

Dimensions That Most Concern People With Physical and

Sensory Disabilities " and the issue of thorough

medical care, the topic is explored in greater depth

in a lecture entitled " Wellness in the Context of

Disability: Enhancing Physicians Knowledge About Those

Who Live With Disabilities. " by K. Seyden, MS

It can be accessed on the National Institute on

Disability Rehabilitation Research website at the

address below, if anyone may be interested.

http://www.rehabinfo.net/training/lectures/lecture.asp?id=1

It shows much work needs to be done in educating

physicians beyond physiology of disease. An issue I

have experienced many times in my dealings with CMT.

A good day to all!

Joyce S.
