Guest guest
Your Five Concise Wisdom's for the Week: Quote of the Week: "You find men talking everywhere from their memories, instead of from their understanding." (Ralph Waldo Emerson) Illustration of the Week: There was once a man accidentally locked up at night in a warehouse. He searched desperately for a flashlight but could not find one. Finally, the idea came to him to just relax and think for awhile. This revealed new ideas to him; he remembered a certain turn he made to get back to this remote corner of the warehouse. Retracing his steps, he easily found his way back out to the lighted areas of the business. Insight Exercise of the Week: Pause before dozing off to sleep at night to observe the mind. Take inventory of what's there, without opposition or an attempt to modify. Grant yourself this vibrant space before sleep, even if only for a moment. Challenge of the Week: One fact we don't want to face is that even when we get what we want, we're still as anxious and nervous as before. Inspiration of the Week: The wish for the higher life must be nourished and cultivated, but the fact that you have the wish guarantees your success.
