Guest guest
Hello ers, I have come across a new product for relief from neuropathic burning and tingling called Biofreeze. It is in a lotion or roll on and I am going to ask for a free sample and try it on my feet. Does anyone else want to try it and be a guinea pig like me in a very unscientific, but perhaps helpful originated research of sorts? Some of the orthotists are giving it to clients out here. The toll-free number for a free trial product is 800 - BIOFREEZE ( 800 - 246 - 37733) For international inquires the phone is 1 - 724 - 733 - 9500 Once we all get a sample, we could try it for one or two weeks and see if the burning and tingling is helped. And share our experience with it. Even if 5 of us try this, it might be interesting...anyway, I KNOW I will try it. ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
Gretchen, Hello was just reading about the biofreeze to help your burning and tingling? Are you not on any meds such as neurontin and lexapro?. I have not had any burning and tingling in a long time well since I have been on them. My feet usually feel like they are going to explode as if someone has them shut in a vice grip wayyyyyyy to much but the Drs. tell me there is nothing that can be done about that. HUM I mentioned to everyone that I sent off for the rebuilder and am on day 5 with it and I am going to tell all of you that I have slept the last 2 nights with no foot pain what so ever, didnt toss and turn at all and got up to go potty without my cane or holding on to the dressers. Today my feet almost feel normal.... I am excited to say the least. I know the thing is expensive but if it gives me relief then the cost doesnt matter. **** , I take Elavil, but my feet can still burn. While Elavil helps with my tremors, too, that is about the only med I am willing to take now. I took Neurontin for about a year - but not for burning or tingling - I still hade foot burn on Neurontin, but it did take away some intermittent arm/nerve " sizzles " . Neurontin also increased my tremors and then I stopped it - I don't need a magnification in tremors. I am very interested in Biofreeze since it is topical and portable, supposed I was out in the hills with my dogs and my feet started burning - well, it would be good to have this stuff then. My feet have also been known to burn in Aquatics. It would be good to have this stuff to roll on after the workout. ~ Gretchen
