Walking along the riverside I thought What a world we are living in alone Water is flowing to the brim in the river While we have nothing to drink at home. Some people were taking drinks and food More than what their stomach could hold There were many who had nothing to eat Waiting for left overs to be thrown in street. They say God Blesses & Protects us all But why this vast difference among people That surely leads to struggle and violence And everywhere we hear the distress call. People with money want more of it People without penny crave for it People who die for want of it Outnumber those who stroll on it. Krishna, You are The Creator of this world No one can understand your deep design Awestruck we stand wihtout a word Allow us atleast to pray and feel fine. - KOMBUR VANKEEPURAM MADHAVAN.
