Guest guest Posted June 19, 2003 Report Share Posted June 19, 2003 My husband is having more and more trouble walking. With his AFOs he can do better, but he soon gets tired and uncomfortable. He would like a small electric scooter, but the medical supply place here says they haven't been able to get Medicare to pay for a scooter for anyone in five years. Medicare will pay for an electric wheelchair (he can't use a maual wheelchair bcause his hands are too affected), but he feels a scooter would work better for him.
