Jeanann here:

I asked my doctor to request an electric scooter and after Medicare refused

to pay, MDA picked up $2000 of the cost. I worked with a salesman feom the

scooter business. They seemed to know how to get it paid for by MDA. You have

to be refused by Medicare. I use the scooter for outdoors and Medicare only

pays if you cannot walk at all, even in the house. I heard that they do check

up

on you, so walking around outdoors after paying for the scooter...I guess it

would be fraud. If I need to have help inside, I think I would like to have

an electric chair because it takes up less room and turns corners tighter

corners. Easier to take into the bathroom. Check out both.
