Central Nervous System (CNS) symptoms and CMT

Friends,

I have read many articles and studied what I could about CMT and it's

variants over the years but so far, I have been unable to find

anything that addresses autonomic symptoms such as heat intolerance,

frequent urination, unexplained itching; plus, cognitive effects,

etc, because, there exists a general believe that CMT peripheral

neurapathies have no CNS consquences or overlap. I believe this

thinking is wrong, and that CMT variants may very well have

autonomic/CNS symptoms like I have described, but have yet to be

formally recognized as more globally neural inclusive.

Thoughts on this? Research that suggests this? Thanks, in Newington
