Guest guest
Hi; I am 26 years old. I have lived with this disease all my life, though I was properly diagnosed last July. I try to keep a positive attitude, though sometimes it is really difficult. Nevertheless, I am glad it is I that has this than my brother and his children. Balance is the hardest part of CMT for me to deal with. My wife is very helpful and supportive. It was actually she who signed up for me. I hope to hear about treatments that may help. It will be nice to have some positive people with whom to talk. CMT runs in my family, but none of my family tries to see the silver lining. My wife tries to keep me upbeat and see the blessing of having CMT. I am a better person for having CMT. Thank you for the invitation to your forum.
