Guest guest
Hi Heidi, I feel the same way.. I have so much energy in the morning..but by mid afternoon I am so fatigued. My doctor told me, it was because it takes us so much more energy to walk. Plus I don't sleep well, due to my legs and hands hurting , so my sleep is broken up during the night. I have tried drugs, but dont like the groggy feeling I get from them.. I am very sensitive to drugs. So I dont take much in meds.. I try to pace myself. I stopped working 3 three years ago and it was the best thing for me. I couldnt keep up the pace and work full time and have a normal life with family and friends. I was exhausted and depressed. Now, I try to get what ever that takes a lot of energy done in the morning. And then relax in the afternoon and I take a nap so that I can get through the rest of evening with some more energy. If I let myself get fatigued, all sorts of stuff happens.. I am in more pain, I fall alot, even the smallest tasks become difficult and I struggle with swallowing food. All part of CMT. So I can relate to your situation very well. Carol
