I had to reply to your email, (in Newington).

I know exactly what you mean about doctors/reports/etc. on autonomic

involvement.

Fortunately my doctors have decided that regardless of the prevailing opinions,

it seems obvious that in my case, the autonomic system is definitely involved.

(It IS part of the peripheral nervous system) I was diagnosed with

cardiovascular autonomic neuropathy (evidenced by heart involvement,etc) My

father seemed to have similar problems, more in the bladder area, but was never

formally diagnosed with CAN (Yes, he did have CMT diagnosed).

I'm SO glad that my doctors finally have accepted my situation and are treating

me appropriately. (Even went to the Cleveland Clinic, where they shook their

heads and just " hmmed " ).
