Guest guest
Sure I felt bad about it since we suffered a lot for it BUT the bottom line is that if you didn't know how harmful they are, you can't really blame yourself. The media, schools, doctors, etc are all so pro-vaccine, it's a wonder that anyone is able to withstand the pressure. You need to let go of it and move on. Do what you can to feed her healthy organic foods, undo the damage with detox and homepathy and probiotics. It could have turned out much worse. I think cell phones are extremely damaging to babies development as well so if you're concerned about that, keep cell phones off unless it's an emergency. Guest guest
These are really two separate issues. I agree, it's outrageous to have to pay for our food not to be poisoned. How does our government condone that? Many children here are also starving, starving for decent food. Look at what is in their lunches, if you have the opportunity: Lunchables (crappy, overpriced packaged junk), yogurts with high fructose corn syrup, aspartame and artificial coloring, cookies, crackers and peanut butter (if it's allowed due to allergies) with hydrogenated oils, Fruit by the Foot, juice with HFCS--just enough to keep them alive but down the road they are sickly adults. The alternative is the school lunches--nothing organic there. And we don't always have organic in the house, sometimes never. It's expensive. I'm not really so overly grateful to be fighting to keep garbage out of my children. When they're older, it's really difficult. We have an ongoing fight about aspartame in chewing gum. They think I'm nuts because all the kids chew it. It shouldn't be sold. Period. But at least we have choices, so I do agree with Joyce to keep it in perspective. It could be worse.
