The itchies... I thought I was just nutz. LOL Glad someone else has them. I can't seem to stay hydrated. I drink tons of water and diet soda, I am ALWAYS thirsty.. really helps that bloating ya know. I too had an overprotective mother, but looking at my life then and now, I believe she did all the best to help me even when CMT was still in the dark ages (1960s!) OK, as for the medical jargon, you must have seen some of the research news from posts this weekend. Don't worry about understanding all of that. Very few do. I am working on writing brief-easy-to-understand-synopis of some of the most promising new research in the CMT world. I started a folder today in our 'files' section for shorter-readable explanations. Our research news come from around the world. We've got a new 'poll' going on about 'research' follow this link /polls our polls are anonymous - everyone gets the results when a poll ends. You can look over past polls there too. I think I put in a neurology 'dictionary' somewhere - should be in our 'links' I'll look for it and re-post.
