Guest guest
Welcome again Ian and thank you for introducing yourself. As for running, that is great; but I jog in a pool. Yes, I actually never 'go anywhere' but just jogging in the pool to a 7 mile current is enough to keep up with. I have been adding new schemes to my aquatics workouts as I progress and it seems it has all had a terrific effect on my arms, legs, muscles, and also the cardio of it all. I wear running shoes in the pool, and the bottom has a spring, this takes the pounding off my joints and I still get the benefit, unlike jogging on a road or sidewalk. Sorry I can't help with your knee cap question. If it is any consolation, I had major back surgery a year ago and I am in better shape now than I was before Some of my warmups in aquatics are either based in yoga and/or tai chi. I have been meditating for about 20 years and it does wonders for me. ~ Gretchen
